
Recording: Dixon's Shining Cold
Three days of recording sessions at the National Centre for Early Music, York, for the Resonus Classics release of Ailsa Dixon's Shining Cold, for soprano, string quartet, and ondes Martenot. Charlie plays the ondes Martenot part alongside the Villiers Quartet, soprano Lucy Cox, and mezzo-soprano Tamaki Dickenson. Shining Cold was originally performed in 1986 with Cynthia Millar, and this is its first commercial recording.
