London Soundtrack Festival Gala with the London Philharmonic Orchestra
Charlie performs at the London Soundtrack Festival Gala Concert at the Royal Festival Hall, alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra and presenter Tommy Pearson. He performs two roles: the ondes Martenot in Natalie Holt's suite from Loki (recorded for the Disney+ series), and the theremin for Howard Shore's suite from Ed Wood, played from a balcony box above the stalls. The evening celebrates the career of Howard Shore alongside works by Natalie Holt, Harry Gregson-Williams, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Anne Dudley, and others.
an absolute highlight of the evening — the brilliantly kitsch, mad-cap piece features bongos and theremin (the thrillingly unusual instrument was played by Charlie Draper up in one of the hall's boxes, above the stage)— BBC Music Magazine
