The UK premiere of Joseph Schillinger's First Airphonic Suite for Theremin and Orchestra, with Simon Nathan conducting an 80-piece scratch orchestra drawn from Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra and the IAS at St Giles's Church. The programme also included Bernstein's Candide Overture, Dukas's The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and a Williams Star Wars suite.

You were so unbelievably outstanding — I think a lot of people came specifically for your piece, and it fit so well into the programme. Didn't want to tell you this before, but that's actually the first concerto I've ever conducted... Such a good start for me!
