UK Premiere: Schillinger First Airphonic Suite
The UK premiere of Joseph Schillinger's First Airphonic Suite for Theremin and Orchestra, with Simon Nathan conducting an 80-piece scratch orchestra drawn from Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra and the IAS at St Giles's Church. The programme also included Bernstein's Candide Overture, Dukas's The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and a Williams Star Wars suite.
